Where do we collect our newdawncampers from?
The collection point is the Bay Horse Hotel Arkholme LA6 1AS. This is approximately 10 minutes from J35 of M6 heading towards Kirkby Lonsdale.

You can leave your car safely with us for the duration of your adventure.

If you are travelling by train we are able to arrange collection from Oxenholme or Lancaster stations on the West Coast mainline.
Are there any extra fees?
Our prices include total rental costs per night.
This includes: driving insurance for up to 2 drivers with a clean licence for the campervan.
breakdown assistance,
all cooking and eating equipment,
fridge
a full tank of fuel
a full gas cylinder
We even throw in the kitchen sink!

**If you don't have a clean licence additional insurance costs maybe incurred. Additional insurance is needed when hiring the 4x4 with roof tent this is confirmed at booking and is approximately based on a clean licence £50.
How long in advance do I need to book a vehicle?
Our vehicles are booked out on a first come first served basis. If there are any cancellations these will be advertised on our social media channels; facebook and instagram and notified to our subscribers - sign up not to miss out on the adventure.
Is there an age restriction for hiring the vehicles?
You must be over the age of 23 and have had a UK or EEA drivers licence for 2 years to rent the vehicles.
We advise that only confident drivers hire the vehicles.
Do you allow pets?
We appreciate that pets can be part of the family and that they often enjoy an adventure.Â
We are happy to accommodate well behaved dogs in our vehicles. More exotic pets by request!
However we ask that you keep them as clean as possible as failing to do so may incur extra cleaning charges on your return and loss of deposit.
Do I have to pay a deposit and what are the deposit costs?
We ask that every customer pays a deposit to secure the hire of their newdawncamper. This is paid on booking and is non refundable if there is a short notice cancellation this is 25% of total booking cost.

We ask for a £500 security deposit against the drivers credit card to be held and returned once the return check has been completed satisfactorily after your adventure. This must be cleared 24 hrs prior to hire start.
Any damage or additional cleaning costs will be assessed at this stage. This will be completed by 5 working days after the return of the vehicle.

Should your trip be cancelled due to national COVID restrictions your deposit will be returned.

If you or a member of your travelling band have to isolate prior to travel due to COVID please contact us asap and we will try to accommodate your booking at a future date.
What are the pick-up times for your vehicles?
Collection times for vehicles is from 3pm. There will be an approximate 45 minute handover needed on collection to run through technical facilities and how to use them. All vehicles must be returned by 11 am on the morning of return failure to do so will incur additional costs.
Is bedding included in the newdawncampervans?
We request that you bring your own bedding duvets, pillows and or sleeping bags.
Each newdawncamper will be provided with matress protectors for the beds and a bottom sheet.
If you are travelling by train you can order a bedding bundle which will include all you need for cosy sleep.
Is there a minimum booking period?
Yes, newdawncampers are booked for a minimum of 3 nights.
